Docent Vant was a female, Twi'lek Jedi in service at the time Obi-Wan Kenobi trained as a young Jedi Knight at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. With blue-skin, not uncommon among Twi'leks, and a single, tattooed headtail, Docent Vant was responsible for most of the day-to-day activities and responsibilities that kept the Jedi Temple running smoothly. It was Docent Vant that brought Obi-Wan the news that after his confrontation with fellow student, Bruck Chun, it was decided that Obi-Wan would not be chosen as a Padawan, but would be transferred to the Agricultural Corps to use his elementary Force powers there.
